Director's Message

Welcome to the Catholic Cemeteries! Believe it or not, cemeteries are places that are full of life! Thousands of memories and prayers flow within our boundaries. Visitors grieve, but are also comforted by the visible signs of their faith and belief in the Resurrection.

The Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of San Francisco have been serving families in some areas for well over 125 years. Family, local and religious history are abundant in our cemeteries, as can be seen in the beautiful monuments erected for beloved family members as well as for notable figures.

Our employees have the satisfaction of knowing that they are serving others by fulfilling the corporal work of mercy, the burial of the dead. We hope that the information you receive through this website will help you understand the uniqueness and sacredness of the Catholic Cemeteries!
